PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement sensor capable of easily and suitably carrying out a strong wind-time elevator control operation without moving a building itself even when residual displacement occurs in the building.SOLUTION: There is provided a displacement sensor 7 for earthquake- or strong wind-time control operation including a displacement sensor body 8 fitted to the upper-layer building part of a seismic isolator, and a sensing plate 10 having a circular opening 11 fitted to the lower-layer building part of the seismic isolator while a sense lever 9 of the displacement sensor body 8 is inserted. When residual displacement occurs in a building with the seismic isolator, a sensing plate 20 having a cut 21 extending to a circular opening 11 is employed instead of the sense plate 10 having the circular opening, the sensing plate 20 is fitted such that the cut 21 of the employed sensing plate 20 faces the direction in which the residual displacement occurs, and the displacement sensor is usable as a displacement sensor for earthquake- or strong wind-time control operation. |
