The invention relates to methods of producing chloride-containing aluminium salts. Aluminium oxychlorides can be used as coagulants for purification of natural water to potable water. The inventive task is aimed at working out an effective method for producing a number of chloride-containing aluminium salts within the existing process line, said salts are used for water treatment both for potable water and for thermal-power processes (in District Heating Plants, Huclear Power Plants, Thermal Power Plants, etc.), for example aqueous aluminium chloride AlCl∙6HO, low-basic oxychloride Al(OH)Cl(1/3 OXA), medium-basic Al(OH)Cl (2/3 OXA), high-basic oxychloride Al(OH)Cl (5/6 OXA). To solve the assigned task a process line is proposed for producing chloro-containing aluminium salts, the line comprises a unit for producing activated aluminium hydroxide (1), a unit for producing aluminium trichloride (3), a unit of separating undissolved sediment from solution chloride-containing aluminium salts (5). The unit for producing activated aluminium hydroxide comprises a device (1) for pulse thermal action of hot gases in turbulent current, a grinding equipment (2), a cavitation generator (3) for carrying out cavitation activation of suspension of thermo-chemical activated aluminium hydroxide, a unit synthesis of chloride-containing aluminium salts, a unit (5) of separating undissolved sediment from salts solution, a facility for evaporation and crystallization of salts solution (6). The inventive method provides to produce super purity aluminium hydroxide with basicity from 5/6 to 1/3, trichloride aluminium, the method for producing thereof is free of waste water and noxious gas emissions, autoclaving and the use of metal aluminium are not required, and provides to use effectively a partially dehydrated product of formula AlO∙nHO, where n is=0,5-2,9. |
