PURPOSE: A phosphorus compound is provided to prevent the luminous efficiency degradation of an organic light-emitting diode by having excellent thermal stability, triplet energy greater than 2.8 eV, and a wide energy gap. CONSTITUTION: An organic light-emitting diode includes a first electrode, a second electrode (130) facing the first electrode, a light-emitting material layer (123) located in between the first and second electrodes, a hole-transport layer (122) located in between the first electrode and the light-emitting material layer, and an electron-transport layer (124) located in between the second electrode and the light-emitting material layer. At least one of the light-emitting material layer, the hole-transport layer, or the electron-transport layer contains a phosphorus compound.
