PURPOSE: A ship is provided to solve problems on vibration and noise which is transferred to a hull and to minimize the size of a rudder by improving directivity and maneuverability. CONSTITUTION: A ship comprises a propeller(120) and a free-swirl rotor(140). The propeller is rotationally coupled to the end of a stern bulb(111) which is arranged in the tail end of a hull(110) so that propulsion force for propelling the hull can be generated. The free-swirl rotor is rotationally coupled to the hull at a position close to the propeller and uniformly maintains the flow of water which flows into the propeller, thereby improving energy efficiency during the propulsion of the hull. The free-swirl rotor is rotationally coupled to the hull in a specific direction so that the water flow which is formed around the propeller can be reversed. |
