PURPOSE: A method for measuring a self-restoration capability of a steel sheet for home appliances is provided to measure the glossiness before and after a brushing process, thereby obtaining the reliability of a self-restoration capability of the steel sheet for home appliances. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a self-restoration capability of a steel sheet for home appliances includes the following steps of: preparing a specimen (S110); measuring the glossiness (A) of the prepared specimen (S120); brushing the specimen (S130); measuring the glossiness (B) of the brushed specimen after 12 hours (S140); and comparing the measured glossiness (A) and glossiness (B) (S150).
