摘要 PURPOSE: A fault diagnosis method of a grid-connected photovoltaic power generating system using an equivalent operation time concept and an apparatus thereof are provided to construct an efficient follow-up management system by providing diagnosis information about a fault or an abnormality to a user. CONSTITUTION: A performance database (100) stores operation data. The operation data includes DC power, AC power, solar radiation intensity, a temperature, and wind in a photovoltaic power generating system. A fault diagnosing unit (200) compares and determines the normality, the fault, and the abnormality of the photovoltaic power generating system from a yield model. Equivalent operation time from the performance database is used in the yield model. The fault diagnosing unit outputs a fault mode of the photovoltaic power generating system.
