PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed contact device capable of eliminating an arc extending in any direction.SOLUTION: A sealed contact device includes a housing 20, a fixed contact 33a and a movable contact 48a arranged oppositely inside the housing 20, and a permanent magnet 36 disposed oppositely between the fixed contact 33a and the movable contact 48a, for attracting the arc generated between the contacts 33a and 48a by magnetic force. Inside the housing 20 at a position where the arc is attracted by a current flowing between the fixed contact 33a and the movable contact 48a and the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 36, a shield member 61 for the arc is disposed. |
