PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sub-headlight unit for a vehicle turning in a lean attitude capable of suppressing the occurrence of a time zone in which a position that a driver wants to see is not sufficiently covered by an illumination range in process of an increase or decrease of a lean angle.SOLUTION: A sub-headlight unit for a vehicle turning in a lean attitude includes a plurality of sub-headlight light sources for illuminating the outward in a vehicle width direction and front of the vehicle on one side in the vehicle width direction. The brightness of the sub-headlight light sources is changed in accordance with a lean angle of the vehicle. When the lean angle of the vehicle reaches a reference value individually determined for the respective sub-headlight light source, the sub-headlight light sources obtain prescribed brightness. Each reference value is larger than 0°, and different from each other, and moreover, determined at intervals in ascending order from 0°. Furthermore, the interval is small with an increase in the reverence value. |
