PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the amount of exhaust heat on a rear face side larger than that on a front face side inside an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A plate 23 has a shape that extends from the vicinity of an intake port 21 into a space between a fixing unit and an image forming unit to partition the space into upper and lower parts in a vertical direction, and makes a gap closer to a front face than a rear face smaller among gaps held between the fixing unit and the image forming unit. Accordingly, when air is taken in, a larger amount of air on the rear face side is sucked out than that on the front face side, and thereby the amount of exhaust heat on the rear face side is made larger than that on the front face side. |
