摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sulfuric acid dew-point corrosion resistance without relying on Sb addition, and preferably to also improve hydrochloric acid dew-point corrosion resistance, in steel based on plain steel.SOLUTION: Acid dew-point corrosion resistant steel includes, by mass%, 0.005-0.200% C, 0.20-0.80% Si, 0.05-1.50% Mn, 0.002-0.020% P, 0.005-0.015% S, 0.10-0.50% Cu, 0.05-0.30% Ni, 0.005-0.100% Al, and 0 or less than 0.010% Mo, with the balance being Fe and impurities. When setting a high value on hydrochloric acid dew-point corrosion resistance especially, it is preferable to turn an Mo content in the steel to 0.005-0.030 mass%.
