PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette butt-treating device requiring less labor for its maintenance.SOLUTION: A cigarette butt-treating device has a cigarette butt-receiving part 12 to which water having a prescribed hydraulic pressure is charged by a pump 15. The water charged into the cigarette butt-receiving part 12 flows to downstream side, and flows out to a water-receiving container 141 led by an effluent tube 13. In this case, the cigarette butts thrown into by users are swept away by the water, conveyed and accumulated in a basket 1414. The water flown into the water-receiving container 141 is transferred to a water-receiving container 142 by passing through a connecting tube 143, drawn up by a pump 15 after removing contaminants by a filter 1422 and charged into the cigarette butt-receiving part 12 again. The water levels of the water-receiving container 141 and the water-receiving container 142 are automatically maintained within a prescribed range with water injected from a service water tube 18. Also, to the cigarette butt-receiving part 12, water having a high hydraulic pressure is charged periodically in from a service water tube 19 not to cause the stay of the cigarette butts. The water-receiving container 141 and water-receiving container 142 are maintained always sanitary by a photocatalyst. |
