The new use of compounds with 7-member cycle in manufacture of formulations for preventing or treating diabetes or metabolism syndrome; the new compounds with 7-member cycle; the method of making the compounds with 7-member cycle and the compositions comprising the compounds with 7-member cycle are provided. The compounds with 7-member cycle in the present invention can effectively prevent or treat diabetes or metabolism syndrome.
