PURPOSE: A luminance correction system and a method thereof improve the luminance uniformity of pixels by reducing the luminance variation of the pixels. CONSTITUTION: A data driving unit (40) supplies image data to each pixel. A control unit (120) selects a reference pixel among representative pixels included in each sample area. An offset value calculation unit (130) calculates an offset value as a luminance difference between the reference pixel and the representative pixel by each representative pixel and linearly calculates offset values of the remaining pixels by using the offset value of each representative pixel. A data correction unit (150) corrects the image data supplied from the outside by using the offset value of each pixel and supplies the image data to the data driving unit.
