PURPOSE: An air purifier is provided to reduce maintenance costs as a filter is reusable by washing with washing liquid such as water, to facilitate continuous installation as the filter is thin and flat, and to increase a contact area with gas while occupying less area. CONSTITUTION: An air purifier comprises: a case; a duct pipe composed of a hollow tube; and a filter assembled on the outer circumference of the duct pipe. One end of the duct pipe is connected to an outlet from inside of the case, and the duct pipe is equipped with multiple inlets in which gas inflows. The filter comprises a couple of a first filter body(61) and a second filter body(62), and an interval maintaining member(64) which maintains the interval between the first and second filter bodies. The first and second filter bodies are composed of metal fibers and the filter bodies are formed to be thin and flat along with the surroundings of a duct and gaps between the filter bodies widens as the filter bodies move toward inside with outer corners connected to each other. An inner corner is located close to the outer circumference. |
