PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve control accuracy of an output hydraulic pressure in a regulator for controlling the output hydraulic pressure by controlling an input hydraulic pressure.SOLUTION: Directions of sliding resistance are opposite between a case where a control piston 204 is moved forward and a case where it is moved backward. Therefore, even when an input hydraulic pressure is held by being switched from a boost mode to a hold mode, an output hydraulic pressure is increased, and cannot approach a target hydraulic pressure. Relating to this, a boost-to-hold transition mode is set before the hold mode, and the moving direction of the control piston 204 is switched from a forward direction to a backward direction. As a result, an increase amount of the output hydraulic pressure when the mode is switched to the hold mode can be suppressed, and the pressure can favorably approach the target hydraulic pressure, and thus, control accuracy can be improved. |
