PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing switching time to switch combinations of image forming units to be operated at a time when operating image forming units that have been stopped from among a plurality of image forming units to output a toner image; and a productivity improvement program.SOLUTION: Before reaching a scheduled operation timing of image forming units that have been stopped, and during toner image formation by an image forming unit that is already in operation, image quality adjustment is performed for the image forming units that have been stopped. Accordingly, switching time to switch image forming units to be operated is reduced at a time when operating the image forming units that have been stopped to output a toner image. |
