PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contactor capable of ensuring adhesion to a conductive carbon film, and conductivity with the interior of a cylinder (conductive member), and to provide a socket for electric component.SOLUTION: A probe pin 14 which comes into contact with an electric component and is connected electrically therewith includes a conductive second plunger 30 having one end side coming into contact with the electric component, and a conductive cylindrical member with which the other end side of the second plunger 30 is connected electrically. The second plunger 30 is provided, across the entire surface, with surface plating 30f consisting of platinum group metal plating or alloy plating with the platinum group metal, and a conductive carbon film 30g is provided on the surface side of the surface plating 30f on one end side. |
