摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable execution of communication processing for image data at a time of blackout by using existing small-scale power storage means without addition of new large-scale power storage means.SOLUTION: An image processing device 1 according to an embodiment comprises: a FCU part 3 for performing transmission/reception of image data; an image formation part 5 for outputting the image data received by the FCU part 3; a secondary battery 307A used as a power source at a time of backup for image data to be stored in a RAM 303; a blackout detection part 311 for detecting blockage of a main power source; and a power source control part 309 for, in a blockage state where blockage of the main power source is detected by the blackout detection part 311, performing control for supplying power from the secondary battery 307A to the FCU part 3. The FCU part 3 executes reception processing in the blockage state of which a consumption power amount is smaller than the reception processing of image data executed in a normal state where blockage of the main power source is not detected by the blackout detection part 311.
