PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more positively prevent an inflow of combustion gas into a gap between an internal combustion engine and a combustion pressure detection device installed to the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine with a combustion pressure detection device includes: an internal combustion engine having a combustion chamber C and an opening formed on a wall surface constituting the combustion chamber C and leading to the combustion chamber C; a pressure detection device 5 having a cylindrical housing which can be inserted into the opening of the internal combustion engine, a diaphragm provided at the tip side of the insertion direction of the housing, and a piezoelectric element 10 which is arranged inside the housing and at the rear of the diaphragm and which detects the pressure that acts via the diaphragm; and a second seal member 72 which seals the pressure detection device 5 and the opening inside the opening. The second seal member 72 is a ring-like member whose cross section has an opening shape, and when the pressure detection device 5 is installed to the internal combustion engine, an opening part 72t of the opening shape is in a state of being open towards the combustion chamber C of the internal combustion engine. |
