PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the need of a photographer who might not only want to limit the function of his camera, but also want to limit the function of the cameras of others depending on the subject, as in the case where, when the photographer takes a picture of his children, he would want to limit the generation of light and sound from the cameras of others to protect his children against the light and sound generated from the cameras of others.SOLUTION: An image pickup device comprises an image pickup unit and a transmission unit which transmits subject information associated with the subject whose image was picked up by the image pickup unit to other image pickup devices. Also, an image pickup device control program includes an image pickup step of picking up an image of the subject and a transmission step of transmitting subject information associated with the image picked-up subject to other image pickup devices, the steps being executed by a computer. |
