PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber bundle for a reinforced fiber, which has superior workability and is suitably used for a fiber-reinforced composite material.SOLUTION: The carbon fiber bundle has a sizing agent deposited thereon which mainly comprises a polymer component containing at least a modified polyamide based polymer and/or a polyvinyl alcohol based polymer, and also has a hardness of 70 g or less. In addition, it is preferable that the sizing agent contains a surface active agent or vinyl ester, and is prepared by dissolving a polymer component in water and/or alcohol. Specifically, the carbon fiber bundle is suitably used for a method for manufacturing a composite material, which forms a random mat by using the carbon fiber bundle that is cut into a staple fiber with a length of 2-100 mm and a resin. |
