PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that reduces power consumption without increasing noise.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus has such a configuration that an imaging region having a plurality of pixel columns and a plurality of column circuits are disposed on a semiconductor substrate. Each column circuit has a first circuit block and a second circuit block, and a bias voltage is supplied to the first and second circuit blocks via common wiring. The first circuit block includes an amplifier circuit, and the second circuit block has a configuration capable of switching a first mode and a second mode having smaller power consumption than the first mode. A transition period from the second mode to the first mode of the second circuit block is a period other than a period when the first circuit block performs amplification operation. |
