PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in circuit scale.SOLUTION: A JPEG compression section 40 includes an input data switching section 44 which acquires block data according to identification information and outputs the block data and identification data; a configuration up to a zigzag sequence section 50 that executes processes which can treat the block data output from the input data switching section 44 independently by the block data among a plurality of treatment processes constituting a JPEG compression process, and outputs the block data having been processed and the identification information; and an entropy encoding section 58 which executes other processes among the plurality of processes constituting the JPEG compression process using block data related to the same identification information as the identification information of the block data, and processed by the configuration up to the zigzag sequence section 50. |
