PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device, having good linearity and less power loss, of a bidirectional analog switch, and to provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus of high detection precision.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device is for a bidirectional analog switch which incorporates a switch circuit for turning on/off bidirectionally, and a semiconductor circuit of the switch circuit. A drive circuit is connected to first and second power sources. The first power source voltage is equal to or higher than the maximum voltage of the signal applied to an input/output terminal of the switch circuit. The second power source voltage is equal to or less than the minimum voltage of the signal applied to the input/output terminal of the switch circuit. The drive circuit includes an N type MOSFET and a P type MOSFET in which a gate terminal connected in series between the first power source and the switch circuit is connected to a drain terminal. An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes the semiconductor device. |
