PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system that can continue heating of hot water being a heating object, even when both an auxiliary heating means and a power generating device are brought into operation disabled state.SOLUTION: A cogeneration system includes: a commercial power system 4 for supplying commercial power to an electric load 1; a power generating device 5 communicating to the commercial power system 4 so as to supply power generated by operating with a fuel to the electric load 1; a waste heat recovery means D for recovering waste heat of the power generating device 5 to heat hot water being a heating object; an auxiliary heating means 14 for heating the hot water being the heating object by combusting the fuel; an electric heater 7 which heats the hot water being the heating object; and an operation control means H for controlling operation. The cogeneration system is configured in such a way that when the operation control means H discriminates an operation disabled state where the power generating device 5 or the auxiliary heating means 14 is disabled from operating, the cogeneration system performs commercial power heating processing for operating the electric heater 7 for heating while supplying commercial power from the commercial power system 4 to the electric heater 7. |
