PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyester resin for epicyclic gear, which has a combination of excellent slidability, fatigue characteristics, impact resistance and heat resistance, and an epicyclic gear using the same.SOLUTION: This thermoplastic polyester resin for epicyclic gear contains, relative to 100 pts. wt of a thermoplastic polyester resin composed of (A) 50-95 pts.wt. of a polybutylene naphthalate resin (component A) and (B) 50-5 pts.wt. of a polybutylene terephthalate resin having terminal carboxy group concentration of 18 eq/ton or less and inherent viscosity of 0.7-1.1 dL/g, (C) 0.001-5 pts.wt. of at least one antioxidant (component C) selected from the group consisting of phosphite-based compounds, phosphate-based compounds, phosphonite-based compounds and hindered phenol-based compounds; and (D) 1-10 pts.wt. of an impact modifier (component D). |
