PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding machine capable of accurately measuring an abrasion loss of a truing tool.SOLUTION: A grinding machine includes a grinding wheel 7, a truing tool 8, a deflection measuring means of measuring a relative deflection amount T of the grinding wheel 7 and the truing tool 8 in truing, and a grinding wheel diameter measuring means of measuring the diameter of the grinding wheel 7. An abrasion loss (m) of the truing tool 8 caused by the truing is computed by subtracting a diameter Dof the grinding wheel 7 after the truing and a command cutting amount S of the truing tool 8 to the grinding wheel 7 in the truing from the sum of a diameter Dof the grinding wheel 7 before the truing and the deflection amount T measured in the truing. |
