PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle which can send warm air to a floor side even in a conventional constitution without providing a rising duct irrespective of applications of the air conditioner and can maintain a wide compartment space, and a rolling stock equipped with the same.SOLUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle is composed of an air conditioning means which is mounted to a roof 1A of a rolling stock body 10A to air-condition the inside of a compartment 4 of the rolling stock body 10A, a pair of fans 1a which are mounted to the roof 1A and distributes air which is air-conditioned by the air conditioning means into the compartment 4 via a pair of ceiling ducts 3 successively provided at both sides of the rolling stock body 10A along a longitudinal direction and discharges it, and a pair of line floor fans 2 which are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the rolling stock body 10A, fixes a wind direction in a side direction of the compartment 4 during heating operation and sends air discharged from a fan 1a via the ceiling duct 3 toward a side of the compartment 4, respectively. |
