PURPOSE: An advertisement system and a method thereof are provided to supply an advertisement during incoming and outgoing calls of a smartphone, thereby increasing the number of times the smartphone user is exposed to the advertisement. CONSTITUTION: If a smartphone detects an incoming call or an outgoing call, the smartphone transmits a signal to request an advertisement. The smartphone displays the advertisement which is received in response to the signal to request an advertisement. An advertisement server unit (100) includes advertisement databases which store a plurality of advertisement contents. If the advertisement server unit receives the signal to request an advertisement, the advertisement server provides a random advertisement content to the smartphone. A file server (130) manages advertisement content files by storing and deleting an advertisement content which is received from an advertisement content supplier. If an advertisement server (110) receives the signal to request an advertisement, the advertisement server provides the random advertisement content to the smartphone.
