<p>The invention relates to a solar actuator with bilateral action designed according to the solar-thermal-mechanical conversion principle. According to the invention, the actuator consists of two resilient Bourdon-type tubes (1 and 1') which are positioned in the same plane or in parallel planes, with the paths in an evolvent spiral, so as to permit the two paths to interleave, the internal extremities of the resilient tubes (1 and 1') being connected by some connection pipes (2 and 2') to a sphere- or cylinder-shaped container (3) filled with a thermally active medium (4), such as paraffin, the external extremities of the resilient tubes (1 and 1') acting upon some mobile rods (7 and 7') associated to some antagonistic springs (8 and 8') by which the motion is transmitted to the actuated elements.</p> |
