PURPOSE: A data transmitting method, an apparatus thereof, and a data receiving method are provided to change a data transmission speed in consideration of a channel environment of a reception node which is randomly selected. CONSTITUTION: A receiver (110) receives a response message including channel state information of a leader terminal which is randomly selected among reception nodes participating in a reader selection process. A transmission unit (120) transmits a probe message for data transmission corresponding to a specific layer of received multimedia data to multiple reception nodes belonging to a multicast group. The transmission unit transmits data corresponding to the specific layer with a selected transmission speed. A speed selection unit (140) selects a transmission speed in consideration of the channel state information of a leader reception node.
