PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image quality improvement program capable of improving productivity, and suppressing a variation in image quality generated at a time when operating image forming units that have been stopped.SOLUTION: Before reaching a scheduled operation timing of image forming units 14V and 14W that have been stopped, and during normal operation of an image forming unit 14 in normal operation, the image forming units 14V and 14W are preliminary operated. Accordingly, developability is stabilized, productivity is improved, and a variation in image quality generated at a time when normally operating image forming units that have been stopped is suppressed. |
