PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of easily deleting information related to a particular individual in a telephone directory.SOLUTION: A mobile telephone 1 having a processor 21 includes a storage unit 19 in which an image folder 20B for storing photographic image of each individual and a telephone directory 20A for storing a name 201A to identify the individual for each entry, a telephone number 201B and an authentication image 201E are stored. The processor 21, on detecting a delete instruction to an arbitrary entry in the telephone directory 20A, determines whether or not a photographic image of a particular individual is stored in the image folder 20B, using the authentication image 201E of the particular individual in the entry to be deleted. If there is the photographic image of the particular individual, the processor 21 simply deletes the entry and the photographic image of the particular individual in the telephone directory 20A. |
