PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oyster extract containing fucoxanthin and/or fucoxanthinol, and having higher additional value.SOLUTION: This invention provides an oyster extract containing fucoxanthin and/or fucoxanthinol derived from an oyster containing fucoxanthin and/or fucoxanthinol, food or drink containing the oyster extract, and a method for manufacturing an oyster extract containing fucoxanthin and/or fucoxanthinol, which includes the steps of: feeding an oyster with feed containing fucoxanthin and/or fucoxanthinol; and then extracting an oyster extract. |
