PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and an image display method which adjust the parallax amount of a stereoscopic image in accordance with an image size and further allow a user to adjust the parallax.SOLUTION: The method comprises steps of: acquiring the image size of the stereoscopic image (S2); setting the default value of a depth adjustment value for adjusting the parallax amount of the stereoscopic image, on the basis of the acquired image size (S3); if an input for changing the depth adjustment value occurs (S4), changing the depth adjustment value (S5); setting a parallax adjustment amount of the stereoscopic image, on the basis of the changed depth adjustment value (S6); and adjusting the parallax amount of the stereoscopic image on the basis of the parallax adjustment amount (S7). |
