PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve driving performance of a rotational optical element and to miniaturize a device in a driving device for performing insertion operation on a photographic optical path and a rotational operation on the optical path by a rotational optical element.SOLUTION: A driving device includes a driving rotational member driven to rotate by a driving source, a driven rotational member to which rotational resistance is applied by resistance applying means, a holding member of rotational optical elements respectively supported by the driving rotational member and the driven rotational member, insertion control means for regulating the rotation of the holding member at an insertion position into the optical path, and separation control means for permitting the holding member to move from the optical path to a completely separating position at a specific position in a rotational direction and regulating rotation of the holding member at a regulated separation position having a small moving amount in a separating direction at other than the specific position. The insertion operation of the holding member is performed by relative rotation of the driving rotational member to the driven rotational member. When rotation of the holding member is regulated by the insertion control means and the separation control means, the driven rotational member and the holding member are rotated around an optical axis together with the driving rotational member. |
