PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the requirement to solve the problem that, when a KTN crystal is used as a light deflector, data of deflection performance and reproducibility and stability of deflecting function are problematic due to large variation in dielectric constant among attempts to attach the KTN crystal to a jig, to vary the fundamental capability to deflect an optical path, which is peculiar to the KTN crystal.SOLUTION: A jig is provided which improves the reproducibility and stability of deflection characteristics of a light deflector, an optical scanner, or the like using a KTN crystal. The jig has, as a mechanism for holding the KTN crystal, a configuration to maintain a constant application pressure to an electrode constitution surface of the KTN crystal. Further, a temperature control mechanism is provided on each of both sides of two electrode surfaces of the KTN crystal to improve the reproducibility and stability of deflection characteristics of the light deflector. |
