PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a new compound with a DNA polymerase inhibitory activity and to provide a new pharmaceutical composition utilizing the same compound.SOLUTION: A new compound having a DNA polymerase inhibitory activity is separated from a mold parasitic on a moss. In addition, the new compound has the DNA polymerase inhibitory activity, a human leukemia T-cell growth suppression activity, a cancer cell growth suppression activity, and a macrophage growth suppression activity.
