PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which enables display of an OSD image not to prevent visibility of an original image as much as possible.SOLUTION: A projector is equipped with: a projection section which projects an original image at predetermined aspect ratio based on an image signal; and a control section which controls the projection section. The control section, in projecting the original image at predetermined aspect ratio, determines whether or not a non-display area which is not used for display of the original image is in display elements of the projection section, and displays an OSD image by the non-display area in the case of determination that there is the non-display area. |
