METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GLASS SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a glass sheet using a working liquid having lubricity and being removed easily by cleaning when an edge face of the glass sheet is ground or polished.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a glass sheet includes processes of: grinding or polishing an end face of a molded glass sheet by turning a grinding wheel or polishing wheel; and cleaning a main surface of the glass sheet having the ground or polished end face with a cleaning liquid. In the process of grinding, a working liquid prepared by adding a surfactant same as that included in the cleaning liquid to water is used when grinding or polishing the end face.
