PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a spectacle lens that can correctly coat an injection auxiliary member with an adhesive with a coating nozzle, and is not affected by a thickness of a mold assembly body.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a spectacle lens that molds the spectacle lens using a plastic lens molding tool 1 having a pair of disk-like mold members 4 and 5, a tape for small-end molding, and an injection auxiliary member 3. Before an adhesive coating step of coating the injection auxiliary member 3 with an adhesive, a data acquisition step of acquiring data including an interval between the pair of mold members 4 and 5 is carried out. In the adhesive coating step, a coating nozzle is moved in a predetermined coating region 42 while the adhesive is discharged from the coating nozzle. The coating region 42 includes two regions (first and second coating regions 42a and 42b) facing outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of mold members 4 and 5 of the injection auxiliary member 3. Positions of the two regions are identified based upon the data acquired in the data acquisition step. |
