PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image imaging device that can surely prevent a wrong detection of an irradiation start of radiation due to oscillation and the like added to the device when the irradiation start is detected by the radiation image imaging device body.SOLUTION: In a radiation image imaging device 1, shield means 42 is provided in a predetermined radiation detection element 7A out of each radiation detection element 7 and shields the predetermined radiation detection element 7A such that the predetermined radiation detection element 7A is not irradiated with light or the radiation, and only when a signal dleakA for the predetermined radiation detection element 7A shielded by the shield means 42 is a set threshold value dleakA_th or less and also a signal dleak for a radiation detection element 7 not provided with the shield means 42 is a set threshold value dleak_th or more, control means 22 determines that the irradiation of the radiation is started, and detects the irradiation start. |
