PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process oil excellent in weather resistance, hardly causing shape distortion such as deformation due to rubber product deterioration, and to provide a rubber composition using the process oil.SOLUTION: There is provided a process oil having following properties of (a)-(c), wherein (a) the ultraviolet absorbance (198 nm) is ≤3, (b) the ultraviolet absorbance (228 nm) is ≤1 and (c) the kinematic viscosity at 40°C is ≥25 mm/s and ≤450 mm/s. With a rubber composition using the process oil, rubber products excellent in weather resistance and hardly causing shape distortion such as deformation can be produced. |
