PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of accurately controlling the relative humidity of a developer by accurately grasping it even when an environmental mismatch occurs and improving the stability of density and color shade without compromising the productivity.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus representatively includes: a photoreceptor drum 28 for holding an electrostatic latent image; a development device 1 for developing, as a toner image, the electrostatic latent image held on the photoreceptor drum 28; and a control part 301 for predicting temperature and humidity of a developer inside a developer container 2 of the development device 1 and changing image-forming conditions on the basis of the prediction result. Further, when a new developer is introduced into the image forming apparatus, an enclosure environmental value at a place where the developer is enclosed in a replacement bottle or replacement developer container 2 as an initial value of the temperature and humidity of the developer to be used for predicting the temperature and humidity of the developer. |
