Removable drill guide tips are provided for simultaneous assembly relative to the holes of a bone plate. The drill guide tips are used as a guide for a drill bit without any additional extension and then removed with a tool to allow insertion of a screw within the same hole in the bone plate. Alternatively, the drill guide tips may be used with an extension to extend the effective length of the drill guide. |
