The vertical wind turbine includes foundation (1) on which is mounted a fixed central axis (2). To the central axis (2) is mounted on bearings a central shaft (3), at the bottom of which is fixed a gear ring (4), allowing transmission of torque from the turbine to the electrical generator. Above the gear ring (4) is arranged turbine unit (5), consisting of two parallel to each other and perpendicular to the central shaft (3), bottom (6) and upper (7) plates. Along the periphery of the plates (6, 7) are borne shafts (9) of the link (8), which divide the plates (6, 7) of equal sectors. Each of the links (8), ends above the upper plate (7) with an axis (10), whose top is beared in the channel (12), made ??in directing the links mechanism (13), mounted to the central axis (2). Above directingthe links mechanism (13) is established guiding tail (17), directing the mechanism (13) according to the direction of the wind. The vertical wind turbine may be designed with more than one turbine unit (5), arranged one above the other like floors.
