PURPOSE: A safe driving route information providing system and a method thereof perform safe driving by preparing for or avoiding a bad driver using information provided in advance about the bad driver. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal (100) transmits bad driving vehicle report information inputted by a user to a bad driving monitoring device (200) and requests and receives safe driving route information to/from the bad driving monitoring device. The bad driving monitoring device registers a bad driver or a frequent bad driving action spot based on the bad driving vehicle report information, checks the current position of the preregistered bad driver and the frequent bad driving action spot at the request of the safe driving route information from the user terminal, and generates and provides the safe driving route information for avoiding the checked positions to the user terminal.
