PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system in which a portable terminal participating in a network can smoothly acquire connection information necessary to connect to the network.SOLUTION: A server 300 comprises: connection information generation means 19 which generates connection information including network connection information necessary for a portable terminal 100 to connect to a network 99 and an IP address of an apparatus; and connection information transmission means 18 which transmits the connection information to the apparatus. The apparatus 200 comprises: image code display means 15 which converts the connection information into an image code and displays it or which displays the image code already converted from the connection information received from the server; request reception means 16 which receives a transmitted job request in which the IP address of the apparatus is designated from the portable terminal which connects to the network by decoding the image code and using the network connection information; and job execution means 17 which executes a job in response to the job request. |
