PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generation apparatus which is contributed to local production for local consumption of energy since a wind power generation apparatus has such a defect that stable power cannot be obtained since power to be output depends on wind power, and the wind power generation apparatus cannot be installed easily anywhere since a large-scaled propeller is required for efficiently converting wind power into rotational power.SOLUTION: A roller coaster or the like (called motive force free traveling body hereafter) in which a generator is mounted and which is dedicated to power generation, and rails therefor are constructed as needed. Potential energy is given to that motive force free traveling body 5 and the motive force free traveling body uses the given potential energy to perform global-environmetally friendly power generation while effectively utilizing wind power generation by oncoming winds received during traveling and power generation operatively linked to rotation of wheels during traveling. |
