The mechanism (1) has a control unit (2) for an adjustment and correction wheel (20). A lever (5) comprises two nozzles (13, 14) for alternative correction of two displays (3, 4), approximately radial with respect to a pivot (6), and facing gear teeth (30, 40). The nozzles are arranged such that one of the nozzles interferes with corresponding teeth at same time. An elastic return unit (7) tends to bring back the lever in rest position (PR) in which the nozzle does not interfere with the corresponding teeth.
